Join a team of SMRC members to staff a first aid station/emergency preparedness outreach booth outdoors for the Asian Pacific CultureFest on Sun., May 17th. This indoor/outdoor event is expecting an attendance of 8,000 people and will have 150 vendors and performances. Parking is free and may fill up. Reporting time is 8 a.m. and our first aid station needs to be set up by 9:30 a.m. Water, ice, and an ice chest will be provided by the vendor as well as some light snacks for volunteers. Feel free to bring lunch or purchase from one of the many food vendors that will be onsite. Uniform is black long pants or long cargo or bermuda shorts and a SMRC t-shirt or blue polo shirt and optional SMRC ball cap. If you have worked 3 shifts/mtgs. and need a uniform shirt and or hat, let Lynn know.
