Role players are needed for a Family Assistance Center exercise Fri., 3/20 at Folsom Lake Community College - I just found out about this event this morning. Up to 3 volunteer role players are needed. In the event of an emergency and the set up of an actual Family Assistance Center, the SMRC would play a medical role.
Schedule & Location
- Arrival: 8:00 to 8:30 AM
- Parking: You may park in parking lot B or C marked “P”. No need to pay the kiosk, we are free to park.
- Location: Meet at Falcon’s Roost Campus Police Office (CPO) Look for signs.
- Morning Briefing & Breakfast: 9:00 AM
- Conclusion: The day will wrap up around 1:00 PM following a debrief and lunch.
Quick Tips for the Day
- Dress Code: Business casual is the standard or wear your agency’s designated uniform (identifiable shirts, vests, etc.).
- Food: We will provide breakfast during the morning briefing and sandwich box lunches for the afternoon debrief.
- Map: We will be utilizing buildings #2, #3 and #6 for reference.
