Join the SMRC team for a fun Labor Day weekend of First Aid, emergency preparedness outreach, and cooling services at Chalk It Up! This popular community event is located at Fremont Park in Sacramento and has amazing chalk art on sidewalk squares, live music, and arts and crafts and food vendors. The primary need is medical volunteers but a non-medical volunteer may join each team if there is space available. There will be 3 teams per day 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 12:30 - 3:30 p.m., and 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. The first and last teams will load supplies and equipment in and out of our vehicle each day.
